ABOUT ME

BORN IN 1972

Jacek is a freelance photojournalist based in Poland, covering sport, social issues and cultural life. He graduated from the Photography Program at the Cracow University of Technology and is a former soldier of Poland’s elite 6th Airborne Brigade. He is a certified photographer of Camerapixo Press – Independent Visual Journalism Association (IVJA, USA) and a member of the Polish Association of Photojournalists. In the past, he worked with leading Polish photo and news agencies, including Reporter and EAST NEWS. Today he runs and publishes Photojournalists’ Magazine and works in his small portrait studio in Kraków. He is the author of a photograph auctioned during the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity for €50,000—one of the most expensive photographs in the history of Polish photography.
